It's an acne face wash with salicylic acid which is a beta hydroxy acid (bha) that helps gently exfoliate and remove dead skin cells, reduce blackheads & the appearance of pores, and treats & prevents acne. CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser contains 3 essential ceramides that are found naturally in the skin and make up 50% of the lipids in the skin barrier. Directions of Use

Recommended use morning and evening. Use pump applicator to apply to wet hands and massage into the skin. Rinse thoroughly. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
If going outside, apply sunscreen after using this product. If irritation or sensitivity develops, stop use of product or ask a doctor
